Aging / Regeneration

Introduction

The Aging/Regeneration process with 302 follows several steps. You must determine the best regime progression for each client.

We recommend a progressive introduction of higher potency products and procedures.  Experience has shown you will provide your client better service and you will have a better business and better results through progressive increases in care intensity.  And greater client satisfaction.

For truly pronounced sun damage, where the skin is coarse, heavily lined and unresponsive OR where breakouts come and go with unhappy regularity, choose the appropriate regimes for these conditions when mature skin is involved.

You may also choose the related specialty regimes for greater focus, but as most of these combine studio procedures with advanced topicals, it may make better sense to progress through the intermediate stage in home care before jumping right to the ‘high voltage.’

Mature Skin: Introductory/Basic Care

For most mature skin types

HOME CARE REGIME

Mornings

Wash quickly, gently. Lather with Face and Body Bar, apply and rinse thoroughly.

Apply Calming Mist

Apply Recovery Plus

Optional: Apply SPF-15 for continuous sun exposure days instead of Recovery Plus OR apply Recovery Minerals (SPF-30) for daily casual sun exposure over Recovery Plus.

Evenings

Remove any excess makeup with tissues. It will be helpful, but not essential to apply a very warm wet wash cloth over the face for about 1 minute several times per week.

Apply Cleanser as if a lotion and massage into the skin.  Apply a bit more and water and massage the suspension around thoroughly and rinse well.   If skin tends to be exceptionally oily or in a polluted environment, add lather from the Face and Body Bar before rinsing and work into the suspension. Now rinse thoroughly.

Apply Calming Mist

Apply Recovery Plus

Regime Goal: Soft, supple, renormalized skin, balanced and toned.  A preparatory step for more active 302 topicals.

BEST RESULTS OCCUR WHEN MAKEUP IS MINIMAL
USE MINERAL POWDER MAKEUP WITH NO ADDITIVES

Mature Skin: Intermediate Care

For most mature skin applications with moderate sun damage and pigmentation issues

HOME CARE REGIME

Mornings

Wash quickly, gently. Lather with Face and Body Bar, apply and rinse thoroughly.

Apply Calming Mist and then apply Recovery Plus.

Optional:  Apply SPF-15 for continuous sun exposure days instead of Recovery Plus or if skin is very dry, apply SPF-15 before Recovery Plus.

Optional: Apply Recovery Minerals (SPF-30) for daily casual sun exposure after Recovery Plus.

For 302 Drops Users:
Leave skin wet after cleansing OR apply Calming Mist.  Dispense 302 Drops slowly and apply to wet skin. Start with neck, move up to forehead.  If you have dispensed too much, apply to décolleté. Be certain skin is wet.  After smoothing in, spray with Calming Mist.

Apply every other day for first week, some pinking and warmth may occur. Move to every day, once per day application thereafter.

Optional: apply Recovery Plus after 302 Drops. This is advisable for very dry skin.

For 302 Serum Users:
Pat dry after cleansing and apply 302 Serum with upward strokes to neck and face.

Apply every other day for first week, some pinking and warmth may occur. Move to every day, once per day application thereafter.

Optional: apply Recovery Plus after 302 Serum. This is advisable for very dry skin.

After One Month:

Introduce C-Boost to the regime, every other day, once per day and reduce 302 Drops or 302 Serum to every other day application also.  Follow application instructions for 302 Drops.

Aging/Regeneration

Mature Skin: Advanced Care

More intensive approaches to resolving the look of skin aging for experienced 302 clients.  Note that Lightening Drops may be substituted for C-Boost, and 302 Plus Serum substituted for 302 Drops or 302 Serum.

HOME CARE REGIME

Mornings

Continue with light, gentle cleansing as in the past.

Apply Calming Mist.  Or Acne Mist - optional

Apply Eye Firming Serum in successive layers allowing 30 seconds between layers, up to 3 layers.

Apply Recovery Plus or SPF-15 (or both for very dry skin)

Apply Recovery Minerals (SPF-30) - for casual sun exposure protection

Evenings

Thorough cleansing with Cleanser and Face & Body Bar after very warm damp cloth applied to face for one minute and removal of any excess makeup with tissues.

Apply Calming Mist, leave skin very wet. Or Acne Mist - optional

Apply Lightening Drops (every other evening) to wet skin, spread from neck to forehead and reapply Mist.

On alternate evenings, apply 302 Plus Serum after cleansing (pat skin dry before applying 302 Plus Serum).

Optional: Apply Eye Firming Serum in successive layers allowing 30 seconds between layers, up to 3 layers.

Optional:  Apply A-Boost twice per week (substitute for 302 Plus Serum on these days), apply to wetted skin. This switch often refreshes the skin. Another method is to alternate every few weeks with 302 Plus Serum, instead of alternating days.

Optional: Apply Lightening: Décolleté and Hand (this product will be more effective than Lightening Drops in these areas)

Note: use of home microcurrent device or low energy ultrasound device several times per week can be very helpful in promoting a very noticeable face-lift effect through skin muscle stimulation. It will generally take two months or longer to see dramatic change occur.  Consult with your skincare professional for assistance in choosing a device.

Aging/Regeneration

Breakouts: Intermediate Care

For skin prone to breakouts and sun damage

HOME CARE REGIME

Mornings

Wash quickly, gently. Lather with Face and Body Bar, apply and rinse thoroughly.

Apply Acne Mist

For breakouts: Restrict your application of Recovery Plus.  Use Recovery Minerals (SPF-30) for casual sun exposure days.  Do not use SPF-15 or SPF-30 lotions except on continuous sun exposure days.

If breakouts are not currently at issue, feel free to apply Recovery Plus.

For sun exposure, use SPF-15 or SPF-30 or Recovery Minerals (SPF-30) as preferred.

Evenings

Remove any excess makeup with tissues. It will be helpful, but not essential to apply a very warm wet wash cloth over the face for about 1 minute several times per week.

Apply A-Boost to wetted skin and massage in gently. Apply Cleanser directly over A-Boost as if a lotion and massage into the skin.  Now lather with Face & Body Bar and massage the suspension around thoroughly and then rinse very well.

Apply Acne Mist.

Apply 302 Serum. Start with every other day for first week, some pinking and warmth may occur. Move to every day, once per day application thereafter.

Stay away from sustained sunlight exposure as much as practical.  Do not take oral supplements of vitamin A unless under a physician’s care.

Take vitamin E orally (500 mg) before a day of prolonged sunlight exposure and maintain a high rate of Vitamin C uptake in your diet to improve sun resilience. Do not megadose vitamin C. Reduce mineral supplements, these tend to cause breakouts. If your sunlight exposure is minimal, you should consider Vitamin D-25 supplementation.

Continue this regime for two to three months or indefinitely to control breakouts.

Regime Goal:  Regeneration of skin to look and feel as it did when it was young and reduction in incidence and severity of breakouts.

Aging/Regeneration

Breakouts: Advanced Care

For intractable breakouts that are not acne in scope, more infrequent in activity, but persistent.

Apply A-Boost DAILY to wetted skin and massage in gently. Apply Cleanser directly over A-Boost as if a lotion and massage into the skin.  Now lather with Face & Body Bar and massage the suspension around thoroughly and then rinse very well.

If skin becomes dry over time, reduce frequency of daily application of A-Boost to those days when breakouts are pronounced.

Optional: During periods of breakouts, add baking soda to the cleansing mix. Dip your fingers in baking soda before adding the Face & Body Bar lather and smooth in (don’t scrub). Add Face & Body Bar lather and water and massage well before rinsing very well.

Apply Acne Mist as provided.

Apply Lightening Drops immediately over wetted skin. Apply every other day from neck to forehead, be certain skin is wetted.  Less is best. Restrict application during breakout periods. Increasing incidence of breakouts while using Lightening Drops indicates poor application: increase use of water to aid in spreading the Lightening Drops evenly.

Optional: Apply Eye Firming Serum using layering technique.

Stay away from sustained sunlight exposure.
